Canadian setter wants to continue volleyball career

Today’s Player Presentation: Tamara Nipp!

With the last college season, Tamara Nipp ended five intensive years in the NCAA program at the Simon Fraser University in mid-December 2016. But Tamara decided quickly, five years of volleyball at a top level were not enough for the ambitious player. She wanted more.

The volleyball head coach at the SFU knew fortunately exactly how her team captain would be able to continue playing volleyball at a high level. Gina Schmidt played for several years in European volleyball leagues and encouraged Tamara to take the step across the Atlantic.

The coach sees her former setter as a complete player:

“Tamara has had an exceptional season leading our team’s offense. On top of consistently setting up our hitters, she finds ways to contribute in so many other ways from serving to blocking to defense. […].” (Gina Schmidt)

The pleasant Canadian is ready to explore the professional leagues of Europe, to gain new experiences and to develop further in volleyball.

VolleyNetWork accompanies Tamara on her career path and is confident that she will also be playing volleyball successfully in Europe.
